Rugs are moving from boring neutrals to pieces of livable works of art. The number one mistake people make with rugs is using a rug that is too small for the space. The front legs of each pieces of furniture should be able to sit on the rug. Rugs that are too small can make the space seem cluttered, whereas larger rugs enhance the space. We are seeing an increase in larger and bolder rugs. Antique or vintage rugs are especially on trend.
