HOW TO KEEP YOUR HOUSEPLANTS ALIVE

Show of hands… How many of you have boughten houseplants? How many of you have killed your houseplants?
Story Time…
I wanted a fiddle fig tree for years and I finally saw them on sale last year at home depot so I decide to get one. I thought I would have no problem taking care of it since I grew an entire vegetable garden from seeds. Slowly but surely the leaves on my fiddle fig began to brown so I frantically searched the internet for how I could save my little plant baby. After researching tips, I was able to bring my fiddle fig back to life and I am proud to report there are even new healthy green leaves growing out.
Here are some tips for not killing your houseplants:
1. Research what type of light your plants prefer
2. Do not over water or under water your plants
3. Make sure your pot has proper drainage
If you’re a beginner I would suggest succulents, cacti or snake plants.
Of course, faux plants are easier to keep looking fresh! Here are some of my favorite faux plants.
